IE Multimedia Awards (II Edition) |
For the second year, the IE Multimedia
Awards were presented at the professors’
meeting mid October. The Awards
ceremony is the initiative of the multimedia
department whose aim is to credit the
special participation of professors and to
recognise the use of multimedia material
in IE.
For six years, some 200 professors
across all programmes (Masters programmes,
Executive Education programmes,
In-company, etc.) have used
multimedia projects with very positive
feedback from students. More than 90
professors across all departments have
acted as authors in the production of
these projects.
The awards were divided into three categories:
the Most Used, the Highest Rated
by Students, and the Most Innovative
project. The winners:
• Most used project - “Fiat Stilo:
Positioning” by authors Jaime Pérez-
Caballero and Juan Luis Martínez.
• Highest rated project by students - “SWOT analysis tool” by author
Joaquín Garralda Ruiz de Velasco.
• Most innovative project (voted for by IE
employees during the first two weeks in
October) - “Workcenter” by authors
Ignacio de la Vega, Cristina Cruz and
Guillermo de Haro.
To conclude the ceremony, a special
award was presented to recognize the
outstanding work and commitment made
by José Maria Alvarez de Novales to
the area of multimedia learning. The
award was collected by his son.
